CEO, Conservation Lands Foundation

With a robust background in community organizing and environmental law and lobbying, Chris brings over 15 years of experience in advocating for the protection of both communities and the natural world. Chris is a passionate advocate for social justice and environmental conservation, blending her love for the outdoors with a dedication to community-based organizing.

Caroline Gleich

Environmentalist & Professional Athlete

Caroline Gleich is an environmentalist and professional skier and mountaineer. An advocate for environmental justice, she has testified before Congress in support of public lands and environmental legislation. In 2024, she campaigned on climate reform as the nominee for the Democratic Party in Utah's US Senate race.

Ryan Callaghan

Board Chair, Backcountry Hungers & Anglers

Ryan "Cal" Callaghan is national board chair of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers and works as Director of Conservation at MeatEater. Cal has long been a passionate member of the outdoor community, having grown up hunting and fishing, guiding, and playing in the West.

Carleton Bowekaty

Policy Director, Bears Ears Partnership

Carleton Bowekaty was raised on and lives on the Zuni Reservation in New Mexico. In both his current position and as former Lieutenant Governor for the Zuni Tribe, Carleton has worked to enshrine protections for sacred landscapes and cultural sites throughout the Southwestern United States.

Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury

U.S. Representative, New Mexico

Born and raised in New Mexico, Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury is a champion of efforts to address hunger, food and water insecurity, conservation, and climate change. Before entering politics, Melanie worked in communities across the state as a STEM educator, and later as a researcher on land and water issues. She currently serves on the House Committee on Natural Resources.
